Brave Poets presents an ever-changing cast of big-band musicians in an intimate setting. From well-known songs to improvised jams, come and experience some genre-bending, mind-expanding contemporary music, with jazz, soul, funk, hip-hop and more.

The Philharmonia Orchestra and Cromwell Place are delighted to partner on a series of concerts reflecting on themes in current exhibitions. To accompany exhibitions exploring themes of tenderness, transcendence and transformation , the September recital features Tchaikovsky’s String Quartet No. 3. The Russian composer's anguish at not being able to express his sexuality gave us some of the most expressive music in the classical repertoire.

It explores the crosscurrents between East Asian and Western culture, with Debussy’s String Quartet, music by Philip Glass taken from his soundtrack to the film Mishima, about Japanese writer Yukio Mishima, and Toru Takemitsu’s arrangement of the jazz standard Autumn Leaves.

October’s recital is inspired by a range of exhibitions as part of Asian Art in London. It explores the crosscurrents between East Asian and Western culture, with Debussy’s String Quartet, music by Philip Glass taken from his soundtrack to the film Mishima.
